Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) is the digitalization of the access line between the exchange and the customer’s premises;

• ISDN PRI provides the customer with 30 channels each of which can be used for separate calls, thus equivalent to having 30 regular lines.
• ISDN BRI provides the customer with 2 channels each of which can be used for separate calls, thus equivalent to having 2 regular lines.
